On Thursday, April 6, the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership is proud to present the 2016 award-winning documentary Embrace: One Woman's Journey to Inspire EveryBODY.
When the film's director Taryn Brumfitt posted an unconventional before-and-after photo celebrating body diversity on Facebook in 2013 it was shared worldwide and seen by more than 100 million people. Embrace is the project which emerged from that media frenzy. Embrace follows Taryn’s journey across the globe as she talks to experts, women in the street and well-known personalities about the alarming rates of body image issues that are seen in people of all body types.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion and facilitated audience Q&A with Dr. Lindsay Segar, Assistant Director of Counseling Services at Babson College and Dr. Monica O'Neal, Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer in Harvard Medical School.
