WIN Lab Marketing Manager (part-time contract position)

The Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab, an initiative of the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) at Babson College, is seeking a part-time marketing manager to support the eight-month accelerator programs in Boston and Miami, in a variety of areas, including: content creation and execution; social media management; event and program promotion – both paid and organic; and partnership promotion communications.


Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of the Boston WIN Lab, this marketing position will support the accelerator’s key marketing and public relations initiatives:

-    Promote events to the larger startup ecosystem community, and on the Babson campus, through digital marketing efforts, website updates, graphic design management, and online registration creation and management
-    Assist in expanding WIN Lab’s inbound marketing capabilities through strategic content creation, including blog posts, articles, editorials, live streaming, and partnership development.
-    Work closely with Babson’s public relations team to identify and schedule media opportunities
-    Manage WIN Lab’s social media accounts and help build presence across multiple social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. Assist in developing and executing on a comprehensive engagement strategy across these platforms to further develop the WIN Lab audience
-    Review current marketing collateral and develop cohesive branding strategy and overhaul as needed
-    Extensive knowledge and understanding of a wide spectrum of acquisition channels like Email, SEO, SEM, Affiliates, Sponsorships, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google Adwords, to access customers
-    Strong capacity to develop landing pages and email delivery to inform and propel growth
-    Other special projects as needed


-    Experienced in marketing a larger content vision and numerous event and product offerings across multiple cities
-    Knowledgeable around branding and understand the importance of a consistent brand look and voice across all collateral and communication platforms
-    Adept at managing part-time contractors and able to give straightforward feedback
-    Able to work in an environment that has a mix of longer institutional lead times but faster team turnaround projects
-    Excellent at project management and able to work autonomously to hit deadlines
-    An advocate for women’s entrepreneurship
-    Marketing in a startup ecosystem is a plus
